Elevate hoops camp: Skills & Mindset
Building Skills, Confidence, and Mental Toughness!
Each day athletes will lace up their basketball shoes, get sweaty on the court, and take out their pencil for mental workbook application. This camp combines physical skills with mental skills to teach athletes how to utilize their brain in elevating their performance. A daily breakdown is below.
Day 1
-
Athletes will learn the details of foundational ball-handling skills that will allow them to create moves to get by the defense and into scoring positions.
-
Athletes will learn how the dialogue they have with themselves impacts their immediate performance and how they can use self-talk to elevate their performance in the moment.
Day 2
-
Athletes will learn proper shooting form mechanics and how to shoot quickly off the catch and off the dribble.
-
Beliefs work on the background of an athletes performance, influencing their confidence and decision making. Athletes will identify their empowering and limiting beliefs and learn what to do with limiting beliefs that harm their performance.
Day 3
-
Through instant video feedback and mini competitions, athletes will learn how to apply the basketball skills and mindset skills they learned in the first two days to game situations. This is their first step in bridging the gap from their current performance to their desired performance.
-
Mental rehearsal and imagery is one of the greatest tools an athlete can use to elevate their performance. Athletes will create their own visualization routine and implement it before competition.

The Elevate Your Game philosophy is built on the belief that true performance growth comes from developing both basketball skills and the mind behind them. Athletes are taught not only what to do on the court, but how to think—using confidence, positive self-talk, and visualization to perform at their best. The focus is on helping athletes handle mistakes, pressure, and challenges with resilience, so they can play free, aggressive, and confident. These tools elevate performance in basketball and build skills that transfer beyond the game.
